We do run a few groups that can compliment our 1-1 work with you. Let’s face it — job-searching can be pretty grim (especially in this economy), so it’s good to have other things to do alongside it!
All our groups are facilitated by staff, with boundaries and support to help make them a good space to build your social confidence, along with other skills. They’re designed to be social-anxiety and neurodivergent friendly so you can be confident you’re joining a kind and chilled-out space.

Crafternoon
Running every Thursday, this is a gentle social space to craft with zero pressure.
Bring your own project along, or join in with the session’s crafts provided by Georgia, or take part in some skill-swapping with the other Crafternooners.
Expect: Chill vibes, and insane amounts of wool.
Nerd Herd
Running every Thursday, get ready to embrace your inner Nerd.
We run casual Table Top Role Play sessions designed to boost your confidence and social skills. Super beginner friendly, with your first session facilitated by Gabby. Get ready to join some intensely geeky fun in a judgement-free zone, with the opportunity to join sessions run by some truly fabulous volunteers.
Expect: Sci-fi, fantasy, nerdy vibes and a crippling dice addiction that we take no responsibility for!
Hairy Violets
Running every Tuesday, just like the Hairy Violet, we’re here to help people challenge expectations whilst learning to thrive in unexpected places. In this case, we’ll look at nature and folklore, through creative writing and self-reflection.
Expect: Weekly guided creative writing sessions for 18-29-year old’s focused on growing self-esteem, self-awareness and resilience.
Liquorice Park: Supported Volunteering
Running every Wednesday: with the support of The Network, get involved with a wholesome community of volunteers whilst helping to maintain a beautiful, local green space.
Build up your confidence and develop your Green Thumb. Beginners more than welcome.
Expect: Getting stuck in with gardening, a lovely community of volunteers and a mandatory tea break.
