Projects and events

Alongside our 1-1, person-centred support we also run some groups; varying from the nerdy to the artistic and creative. These sessions are specially designed to be inclusive of those with social anxiety. We know there’s a real lack of things for 18-29 year olds to do in Lincoln, especially if you’re a bit nervous or shy so we decided to start fixing that by just making some things to help. The Nerd Herd: Table Top Role Playing Games for 18-29 year olds 

Running weekly, get ready to embrace your inner Nerd.

We run casual Table Top Role Play sessions designed to boost your confidence. Super beginner friendly and facilitated by Gabby (self-proclaimed Nerd) Get ready to join some intensely geeky fun in a judgement-free zone, with the opportunity to join sessions run by some truly fabulous volunteers

Expect: sci fi, fantasy, nerdy vibes and a crippling dice addiction that we take no responsibility for…

Crafternoons-craft-y goodness for 18-29 year olds

Come join us once a week to live your crafty best life

Bring your own project along, or join in with a session run by the gifted Georgia. It’s also a chance to maybe do some lovely, craft-skill swapping in a mellow group of wholesome fellow folx if you fancy!

Expect: chill vibes, and insane amounts of wool

The Hairy Violets-Creative Writing and Wellbeing with Nature Vibes

Like the Hairy Violet, we’re here to help people challenge expectations whilst learning to thrive in unexpected places. This will involve weekly guided creative writing sessions for 18-29-year old’s for self-esteem, self-awareness, growth and resilience. This will work alongside 1-1 mentoring sessions with The Network to support with aspirations and removing barriers.

The Network offers a variety of informal, informative and friendly workshops, around topics like: Flexible career planning, job searching techniques and top tips, emotional wellbeing, creative career routes and emotional intelligence and life skills and more! 

We’re happy to discuss coming into partner organisations, schools, colleges or wherever else you might have some young people who need a bit of a helping hand.
